Design & Architecture

House of Raghu is a 6,000 sq.ft. home in Sarjapur, Bangalore, inspired by the timeless look of traditional Bali architecture but built with a modern touch. With its pitched roofs, earthy materials, and well-shaped volumes, the home has a warm, welcoming feel that blends nicely into its surroundings. The outside brings together clay-tiled roofs, textured stone, white walls, and warm timber accents — a nice mix of old and new. Deep roof overhangs keep the interiors cool and protected, while large windows bring in plenty of light and fresh air all year round. The layout is open and connected, with wide verandas, double-height spaces, and outdoor areas that keep the home linked to nature. The staircase is another highlight, designed to be safe and welcoming, adding a warm, family-friendly touch to the home. The home includes 4 attached bedrooms, an open kitchen, a puja room, a courtyard, and a home theatre space — everything a modern family needs, wrapped in a traditional feel. Rooted in craftsmanship and climate-friendly design, House of Raghu is a home that respects tradition while comfortably fitting into modern life — elegant, functional, and built to last.
